Our April Soundhouse Sessions is full of fantastic local singer songwriters and we are in for a real treat tonight!

Steve Parker
One of great names on the Leicester scene playing heartfelt and mesmeric folk. A great storyteller with touches of Nick Drake, Bert Jansch, yet presenting his own unique voice and style that makes him one not to miss!
“His voice had the same nervey velvetness that I associated with Drake. That man was Steve Parker.”
Sonic Breakfast
“It felt like one of those moments of discovery when you find something special.” Music in Leicester

Luke Walker

A real talent as a singer songwriter moving away from his role as a drummer in Leicester bands such as The Chairmen & Joel Owen & The Antoine Band. This year Luke has already supported the likes of John Bramwell (I Am Kloot) and Chris Helme (Seahorses), one to check out!

Reuben Wisner
“One singer who has impressed a lot of people in recent times is Reuben Wisner. It is always a pleasure to hear Rueben sing; his vocals are very agreeable and his songs have a subtlety that makes them ear-pleasing. His guitar playing is of a high standard and in some songs he used a loop pedal. His songs have an acute sense of rhythm and tonight his stage performance was delivered with a particular panache. His songs are about feelings and are delivered with plenty of them.” Music in Leicester
