BEANS ON TOAST RETURNS TONIGHT!

We are delighted to welcome back Beans on Toast to The Soundhouse TONIGHT!

The Beans on Toast live show is an unique and unpredictable experience. A singer, storyteller and guitar player his self-deprecating quality is not something you often see, but it breaks down the barrier between musician and audience, creating a sense of equality.

Supporting on the tour will be piano bashing 21st Century Blues duo from Hebden Bridge – Tensheds and the incredible Kansas country singer Sky Smeed.

Tickets available on the door. 7.30pm doors.

NEW SHOW – SKINNY GIRL DIET JOIN US AS PART OF INDEPENDENT VENUE WEEK 2017

As part of Independent Venue Week we have the brilliant Skinny Girl Diet on Wednesday 25th January!

If music could kill, Skinny Girl Diet would have you on the floor begging for mercy. The legendary Neneh Cherry recently hailed them as “the future” on her guest BBC 6 Music show and everyone from XFM’s Jon Kennedy, BBC Radio 6’s Steve Lamaq, BBC Radio 1’s Rob Da Bank and Amazing Radio have put them on the airwaves loud and clear. Without any help these three feminists have graced the cover of Beat, been featured in Dazed and Confused, Vice and The Guardian.
They have become known for bringing an updated approach to the feminist art punk ideals associated with the Riot Grrrl Movement of the 90s. They have been vocal about addressing the lack of female musicians that still exists in today’s music industry, as well as other issues of equality under a contemporary feminist context.

£7 ADV tickets via Skiddle & SeeTickets.
